Room Rates: Room rates assume single or double occupancy and include morning juice and coffee, a full breakfast and complimentary use of our common areas. Room rates are reviewed periodically and subject to change. The rates quoted in the online reservation tool at time of booking are the most current rates and will supersede any other posted rate. As the rates are based on single or double occupancy, there is a $35 fee per person per night ( based on availability of rollaway) for any additional person in any guestroom. Sleeping bags are not allowed. Single night stays are acceptable on most nights. However Christmas, Thanksgiving and three day holidays require a minimum 2 night stay.
Meals: A full breakfast will be served during a single seating between 8:30 and 9:30 a.m. in the dining area. The exact seating time will be announced the night before and will be based upon guest input. The breakfast includes items selected by the inn keepers and includes coffee, juice, fruit, and a selection of cereals. If you have special requests or dietary restrictions please let the inn keepers know when you book your reservation and we will do everything we can to accommodate your requests. An early light breakfast or visiting family and/or friends may be accommodated with advanced notice.
Advanced Reservations: Advanced reservations are strongly recommended so that you are able to visit us on your preferred date and stay in your preferred guest room. Walk up guests or guests without prior reservations will NOT be accepted. All reservations must be made at least 24 hours in advance.
Credit Cards: We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover Card, cash, travelers' checks and gift certificates issued by Cornerstone Bed and Breakfast.
Advanced Deposit: We do not required an advanced deposit at the time of booking. However, we do require a valid credit card to be provided at the time of booking. If using a Cornerstone Bed and Breakfast gift certificate a valid credit card to hold the reservation will still be required if the amount of the gift certificate does not equal the entire reservation cost. For more information concerning gift certificates please see the Third Party Gift Cards section below.
Cancellation Policy: As a small property cancellations affect us greatly. In the unfortunate event that you must cancel or change any part of your reservation, you must notify the inn ten (10) days prior to arrival. Guests will be responsible for a $25 change/cancellation fee if changes or cancellations are received within less than ten (10) days of the stated arrival.
Check-In/Check Out Times: Preferred check-in time is anytime between 3 and 6 p.m. and check-out time is 11 am... If you know that you will be arriving after 6 pm., please call the inn to make arrangements for a late check-in. Early check-ins may be considered only with advanced notice. Likewise if you require a later check-out; please make arrangements in advance with your innkeeper. There is a small window of time between check-out and check-in time to prepare our inn for our new arrivals. We greatly appreciate your respect for both our 11 am check out time and our 3 pm check in time. We recognize travel schedules have variability and will gladly offer to store your luggage, allow you to park your car on premise or give you access to our common areas including powder room to facilitate this schedule.
Candles & Damages: State and County fire codes do not allow for the use of candles in the guest rooms or common areas and is strictly prohibited. If you are interested in creating the romantic look of candle light please speak with the inn keeper and ask about our flameless candles. Repair or replacement costs for any damage done to the guest rooms, common areas, or other inn structures by a guest or their visitors will be the responsibility of the guest. The actual cost of the repair and or replacement including the cost related to lost rental property revenue. Lost rental property revenue will be charged at rack rate on a daily basis per affected room. These charges will be billed to credit card used at check in.
Smoking: The inn is a smoke-free bed and breakfast. There is no smoking allowed inside or around the buildings. We reserve the right to charge the credit card on file $250 fee to cover the cost of deep cleaning and/or replacing upholstered furniture, window treatments, rugs and bedding if it is determined that a guest has violated the our policy and smoked in any location inside the inn.
Children: Although guests with children over the age of 12 are welcome at the inn, the Cornerstone Bed and Breakfast caters primarily to couples, families with older children and individuals on business or looking for a respite from the hectic pace of today’s world. The inn is not designed for younger guests we do not have high chairs, portable cribs or children’s menus and cannot accomodate your little ones. Specific guestrooms are better suited for a 3rd person in a room as they can accommodate twin beds or a rollaway. We also request that parents help us minimize the pitter patter of little feet for the comfort of other guests.
Third Party Gift Cards: We do not participate in ANY 3rd party gift card programs (bedandbreakfast.com, etc...). We only accept original gift certificates issues by the Cornerstone Bed and Breakfast. If you are interested in purchasing a gift certificate please contact us via telephone and we can arrange to issue a gift certificate for you.
Pet Policy: Although the innkeepers love animals, we do not allow animals (other than service animals) on premise. In addition we do not allow animals to be kenneled in vehicles on the property. Not only is the cruel to the animal, it can also be harmful or fatal. We can recommend boarding facilities nearby for your four-legged travel mate(s).
Prevailing Lodging Tax: All reservations and add-ons are subject to the lodging and sales tax requirements of the State of Oregon and Washington County. The current tax rate is 10.8% and will be added to the total reservation at check-in.
